Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR)

C4ISR is the primary mission of NAVWAR Systems Command, PEO C4I, JTN PMO, NIWC Pacific. EMNDS supports these customers & several of their C4ISR projects: the Airborne, Maritime / Fixed Station (AMF) domain of the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS);  the JTRS Enterprise Network Manager (JNEM) for the JTN PMO.

Tactical Data Links

EMNDS supports the Tactical Command & Control Office, PMW 150 of PEO C4I, in support of these projects: Link-16; the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS); the Multi-functional Information Distribution System (MIDS) On Ship; Dynamic Network Management (DNM); Submarine Link-16; Network Enabled Weapons (NEW); the Command and Control Processor (C2P).

Program Management

EMNDS provides Acquisition and Program Management, Risk Management, and other program management services to the MIDS Program Office, and the TAC C2/PMW 150.

Technical Services

EMNDS provides a wide range of technical services, including System Engineering, Requirements Management, Experimentation, Feasibility Analysis, Design, Integration, Operation, In-Service Engineering, Configuration Management, and Logistics in support of Link-16, TTNT, JTIDS, MIDS, MOS, MOS Mod, and C2P.

Test and Evaluation

We provide Test and Evaluation services supporting the full scope of Systems Engineering from Concept Development through system Verification and Validation. Our team is adept at producing high level test strategies to support program objectives and also works at a detailed level to execute specific test events, interpret results, and communicate technical outcomes to all levels of program leadership. We provide continual management of the T&E program allowing for refinement throughout the development cycle to enable program success in changing conditions. Throughout system development, we collect data and provide reports on the system regarding technical performance and compliance with requirements and system maturity goals.

EMC Features 

We provide expertise in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) and Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) on multiple programs within the MIDS Program Office, PMW-150, PMA-231 and PMA-265. We determine the impact of the electromagnetic environment upon the operational capability of systems, sub-systems, & platforms. We work with the National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in support of EMC Features (EMCF) certification activities for Link 16 systems.
